Born: 12 April 1963, Malaysia

I am established visual artist specializing in artworks made from natural fibre papers, natural fibres and collected objects. My practice encompasses two and three dimensional works including installation pieces. I make abstract and symbolic works that derive from the natural environment and I am strongly influenced by the characteristics of the fibres and materials with which I work.

Red Hot Fibre – Pine Rivers Regional Art Gallery, solo exhibition of recent works in conjunction with Pulp Fiction exhibition of works by North Lakes State College students produced during a residency by Lesa at the College July - August.

Strands – Redlands Art Gallery, Cleveland, solo exhibition of works in paper and natural fibres focused on the interaction between sea and shore, March.
